The Tapo RV20 is a robot vacuum with LiDAR navigation: it maps the flat accurately, separates rooms and lets you set no-go zones. The most balanced choice for a two to four room flat — navigation is exactly what separates it from the RV10.
It is not for you if: you want a self-emptying dock — the RV20 Plus; you need mopping — the RV20 Mop Plus.

What does LiDAR give you?
LiDAR measures the room with a laser and builds a real map: the robot does not wander along walls at random but cleans systematically, and works precisely even in a dark room. In the app you can say "clean the kitchen only".
App and control
Every model is run from the Tapo app: it draws a map, lets you name rooms, set no-go zones and build a schedule. Cleaning can be started remotely from your phone. Voice assistants are supported too.
What to watch for locally
What matters in local conditions: with many carpets, suction power and carpet mode count; with high thresholds, check the height the robot can climb in the specifications; with a shedding pet, a brush that resists tangling and a larger bin decide it. Consumables — filters and brushes — are in stock.
Frequently asked questions about the Tapo RV20
How do the RV10 and RV20 differ?
Navigation. The RV10 uses a gyroscope, the RV20 builds an accurate LiDAR map and cleans room by room. In a large flat the difference is obvious.
Can I set no-go zones?
Yes, virtual walls and no-go zones are drawn on the map in the app — around a pet's bowls, for instance.
What area does it cover?
One charge covers an average flat; on a larger area the robot returns to the dock, charges and carries on.
What about warranty and delivery?
The device is sold by the official TP-Link partner in Azerbaijan with official warranty. Delivery in Baku is available and shipping to the regions is possible. If you need installation, see our services page.
