PCIe Adapters

PCIe Wi-Fi adapters install inside a desktop PC and give it a better wireless connection than any USB dongle. The card sits on the motherboard, the antennas stand on a magnetic base on the desk — away from the metal case that blocks the signal.

This is the right choice for gaming and for work that cannot tolerate a dropped link: lower latency, a more stable signal and no port taken up on the front panel. Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 models use wide channels and the 6 GHz band, and most cards include Bluetooth for a headset, keyboard or gamepad.
