The Tapo RV30 is the LiDAR model with stronger suction in the range: built for homes with pets, carpeted rooms and intensive daily use.

It is not for you if: you want a self-emptying dock — the RV30 Max Plus; you want full automation with a washing station — the RV50 Pro Omni.

App and control

Every model is run from the Tapo app: it draws a map, lets you name rooms, set no-go zones and build a schedule. Cleaning can be started remotely from your phone. Voice assistants are supported too.

What to watch for locally

What matters in local conditions: with many carpets, suction power and carpet mode count; with high thresholds, check the height the robot can climb in the specifications; with a shedding pet, a brush that resists tangling and a larger bin decide it. Consumables — filters and brushes — are in stock.

Frequently asked questions about the Tapo RV30

Does it pick up pet hair?

Yes, it is one of the stronger models in the range. Long hair still needs clearing off the brush now and then — that is true of every robot.

How does it differ from the RV20?

Mainly suction power and cleaning quality. Both use LiDAR navigation.

Does it cross thresholds?

It climbs low thresholds; the exact height is in the product specifications.

What about warranty and delivery?
