TP-Link Deco X50-5G AX3000 5G Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6 Gateway is a mesh system that covers a whole home with one Wi-Fi name. The units link to each other and form a single network, so the connection does not drop as you walk from room to room and you never switch networks by hand.
Who it suits: a two or three storey house, more than 120 m² including the yard and garage, a flat with a long corridor, and any place where Wi-Fi disappears completely in one room. For a small one-bedroom flat a plain router is the better value.
| 5G SIM card slot | a full home network where there is no wired internet. |
|---|---|
| AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 | 5 GHz 2402 Mbps + 2.4 GHz 574 Mbps. |
| 8 internal 5G/LTE antennas capture the mobile signal at its best. | |
| Deco mesh | add a unit to extend coverage without changing the network name. |
| Backup link mode | falls back to 5G when wired internet drops. |
| HomeShield security and Deco app management. | |

In practice one unit covers 80–100 m². A three-room flat usually needs 2 units; a two-storey house needs one per floor (3 units). Place them so each unit still receives the previous one strongly — two or three rooms behind a wall is already too far.
An extender creates a separate network name and roughly halves the speed, and your phone does not hand over from one point to the next by itself. In a mesh there is one network, the handover is automatic and seamless, and a separate channel carries traffic between the units. For video calls and mobile gaming the difference is obvious.
Yes. The main unit connects by cable to a LAN port on the modem and the modem is switched to bridge mode. If the provider modem has its own Wi-Fi, turn it off — two Wi-Fi networks interfere with each other.
The device is sold by the official TP-Link partner in Azerbaijan with official warranty. Delivery in Baku is available and shipping to the regions is possible. If you need installation, see our services page.
