Wi-Fi routers share your internet connection with every device in the home or office and keep that network secure and under control.
Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 models serve dozens of devices at once without slowing down, and setup takes minutes in the TP-Link Tether app — parental controls, a guest network, VPN and QoS priority for gaming or video calls are built in. Models with EasyMesh or OneMesh support can be extended later without being replaced. We are the official TP-Link partner in Azerbaijan.
Three things decide the choice: the size of your flat, how many devices connect at the same time and the speed of your internet plan. An expensive model is not always needed — a family with six devices in a 60 m² flat is well served by a mid-range Wi-Fi 5 router. But if your plan is 200 Mbps and 15–20 devices are online, an old N300 router becomes the bottleneck itself.
The letters in the model name show the technology. Models starting with TL-WR are Wi-Fi 4 (N300) — simple and affordable. Archer C is Wi-Fi 5 (AC), dual-band. Archer AX is Wi-Fi 6, noticeably more stable with many devices. Archer BE and GE are Wi-Fi 7, the newest generation and gaming models.
| Model | Standard | Max speed | Coverage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TL-WR841N, TL-WR845N | Wi-Fi 4 | 300 Mbps | 1–2 rooms | Basic needs, 4–6 devices, plans up to 50 Mbps |
| TL-WR841HP, TL-WR941HP | Wi-Fi 4, high-gain antennas | 300 Mbps | Long range | House, warehouse, weak signal in a far room |
| Archer C20, Archer C24 | Wi-Fi 5 | 750–900 Mbps | 2 rooms | Small flat, 6–8 devices, video calls |
| Archer C54 | Wi-Fi 5 | 1200 Mbps | 2–3 rooms | Medium flat, 8–12 devices, 100 Mbps plan |
| Archer AX56 | Wi-Fi 6 | up to 3000 Mbps | 3–4 rooms | Many devices, smart home gear, 4K streaming |
| Archer BE220W, Archer GE230 | Wi-Fi 7 | 3600 Mbps and above | Large flat | Gaming, 200+ Mbps plans, lowest latency |
TP-Link routers work on the fibre and ADSL lines of Aztelekom, Baktelecom, Citynet and other local providers. The rule is simple: if the provider gave you a modem (GPON/ONU or ADSL), the router goes behind it and the modem is switched to bridge mode — the router then establishes the PPPoE connection itself. If the provider device already acts as a router, switching the TP-Link unit to Access Point mode is enough. Either way setup takes 10–15 minutes.
Configuration is done in a browser at tplinkwifi.net or 192.168.0.1, or through the TP-Link Tether app.
With thick walls or an area above 100 m² one router may not be enough. There are two options: the budget one — a Wi-Fi extender that repeats the existing network — and the proper one — a Deco mesh system that creates a single network across the whole home so the connection does not drop as you move between rooms.
Archer C24 or Archer C54 fully covers a typical two-room flat. With more than eight devices or a plan above 100 Mbps, look at Wi-Fi 6 models such as the Archer AX56.
Yes. On Aztelekom, Baktelecom, Citynet and other lines TP-Link routers work in standard PPPoE or Dynamic IP mode. If the provider supplies a modem, the router connects to it with a LAN cable.
If more than ten devices are online at home (phones, TV, cameras, smart plugs) — yes, Wi-Fi 6 makes a clear difference under load. For four or five devices Wi-Fi 5 is still plenty.
Yes — the Tether app walks you through it step by step. If anything is unclear, write to our support section or on WhatsApp; we also offer installation in Baku.
