VIGI Video Management System

TP-Link VIGI VMS is a software platform for running large surveillance systems from a single centre. It is built for sites with many cameras: a factory, a shopping centre, a logistics hub, a university campus.

The system supports 50 users plus one super user, with privileges assigned individually — a duty operator, a head of security and an IT specialist all work in the same system with different powers. 256 IPC channels are supported free as standard, and that number can be raised on a project basis.

The platform includes a virtual map designer: camera positions are drawn on the site plan, so when something happens the operator sees immediately which point it concerns. Modules for AI monitoring, event and alarm management, custom event rules, batch configuration and evidence management are included as well.

Frequently asked questions about TP-Link VIGI VMS

Do I have to buy an NVR for TP-Link VIGI VMS?

Not strictly — the camera can record to a memory card. But from four cameras up, an NVR keeps the archive in one place, makes searching through recordings far easier, and preserves the footage even if a camera is damaged. On a larger site the NVR and the PoE switch are planned together.

What is PoE and why does it matter?

PoE carries both data and power over one network cable. That means no separate socket next to the camera, so the installation is cheaper and tidier. The important part is choosing a PoE switch with enough power budget (W) for the number of cameras.

Do you design the system for a site?

Yes. The number of cameras, viewing angles, cable routes and NVR capacity are decided after a site visit. The visit and the quote are free anywhere in Baku.

What about warranty and delivery?

The device is sold by the official TP-Link partner in Azerbaijan with official warranty. Delivery in Baku is available and shipping to the regions is possible. If you need installation, see our services page.
