The TP-Link UE330 is a network adapter that connects to a laptop over USB 3.0. Slim modern laptops and tablets have dropped the Ethernet port; this adapter brings it back and puts the device on a wired network.
A wired link is steadier than Wi-Fi: no signal drop-outs, no interference from neighbouring networks, no latency spikes. For video calls, moving large files, cloud workstations, gaming and server access the difference shows. In a meeting room or a hotel room, plugging in a cable is simpler than hunting for the Wi-Fi password.
The adapter delivers Gigabit (1000 Mbit/s). It also carries 3 USB 3.0 ports, so the adapter doubles as a USB hub: a mouse, a keyboard, a flash drive and an external disk can all be attached at once. USB 3.0 reaches 5 Gbps, ten times the speed of USB 2.0. It works on Windows, macOS, Chrome OS and Linux with no driver installation (plug and play).
