The TP-Link POE10E (TL-POE10E) is a PoE extender. Ethernet cable is limited to 100 metres; this unit gets past that limit: it sits mid-run and carries both data and power another 100 metres onward.

In practice it is the cheapest way to bring a camera or an access point at a distant point onto the network — no fibre to lay, no separate power run to bring in. The extender itself is powered over PoE, so it needs no socket either.

The unit supports IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at and passes up to 20 W, which covers most IP cameras. It has two 10/100 Mbps ports and needs no configuration.

What TP-Link POE10E(TL-POE10E) is used for

TP-Link POE10E(TL-POE10E) is a device for carrying power over a network cable (PoE). When a camera, access point or IP phone has to go far from a socket — on a ceiling, a pole or out in the yard — you no longer need to run a separate power line.

What to check: the PoE standard (802.3af / at / bt) and the power draw of the device you are connecting must match what this unit can deliver. Over long runs cable quality affects the result as well.

Frequently asked questions about TP-Link POE10E(TL-POE10E)

How far does it reach?

The standard figure is up to 100 metres. Some TP-Link models have an extended-distance mode that goes further at the cost of speed — usually not a problem for a camera.

Does it work with any camera?

If the camera supports PoE, yes. A device without PoE support needs a splitter, which separates the power from the cable and feeds it into the device power socket.

What should I use for several cameras?

For 2–3 cameras an injector is enough. From four cameras up, a switch with PoE ports is both cheaper and tidier — every cable ends up in one device.

What about warranty and delivery?

The device is sold by the official TP-Link partner in Azerbaijan with official warranty. Delivery in Baku is available and shipping to the regions is possible. If you need installation, see our services page.
