Who is the Deco M4 for?

The Deco M4 is an AC1200 mesh system with two gigabit ports on every unit. That is the main difference from the E4: a TV, console or computer can be wired in. It suits a two-storey house on a mid-range plan.

It is not for you if: you want Wi-Fi 6 and a 200+ Mbps plan — then the Deco X50.

How do the Deco models compare?

Which ISPs does it work with in Azerbaijan?

It works with the cable and fibre lines of Citynet, Baktelecom, Delta Telecom and other local ISPs. If the provider installed an optical terminal (ONU/modem), the device connects to its LAN port; if the cable arrives directly, it goes into the WAN port and the PPPoE details are entered in the Tether app. With some providers the connection is automatic (DHCP).

If the provider's modem has its own Wi-Fi, switching it off and letting this device handle all Wi-Fi gives a better result — two parallel networks interfere with each other.

Setup

Setup runs through the Deco app: the first unit connects to the modem, the rest simply plug into a socket and join the network by themselves. For installation in Baku, our mesh setup service starts at 60 ₼.

Frequently asked questions about the Deco M4

How does the E4 differ from the M4?

Wi-Fi speed is the same (AC1200). The M4 has two Ethernet ports per unit, the E4 fewer.

Can the units be wired together?

Yes, Ethernet backhaul is supported — with thick walls that is the most stable option.

Can I add it to an existing Deco?

Yes, different Deco models work together on one network.

What about warranty and delivery?

The device is sold by the official TP-Link partner in Azerbaijan with official warranty. Delivery in Baku is available and shipping to the regions is possible. If you need installation, see our services page.
