About Hardware.
Hardware Omada controllers — the OC200 and OC300 — are small, always-on devices that manage your whole network without tying up a computer or a server.
They are the practical middle ground: a software controller is free but needs a machine running around the clock, while a hardware controller draws a few watts, is powered over PoE, and simply sits in the rack doing its job. From it you configure routers, switches and access points, push firmware updates, run a guest portal and see who is connected.
The OC200 suits a small office or a shop; the OC300 manages a larger estate with more devices and more sites. The network keeps working if the controller is offline — it manages, it does not route traffic. We are the official TP-Link partner in Azerbaijan.
Network accessories — what you need and what to watch
Accessories are the invisible part of a network that decides the result all the same. Even the best switch and access point will not perform as expected behind weak cable, the wrong module or a poor mount.
Cable: which category to buy

Important: cable that goes into a wall must be solid core — stranded (patch) cable is only for short connections. Cheap CCA (copper-clad aluminium) combined with PoE causes heating and voltage drop; for camera installs use pure copper.
SFP modules
An SFP module provides the fibre link between switches. Three things matter when choosing: the type (SFP 1G or SFP+ 10G), the distance (multimode for short runs inside a building, singlemode between buildings) and compatibility with the switch. Both ends need modules of the same type.
Mounts and installation accessories
Ceiling mounts, wall plates and rack shelves keep an installation tidy and safe. When an office access point is properly mounted on the ceiling, coverage improves noticeably — a unit left behind furniture or on the floor loses part of its signal.

Questions about accessories
Is Cat5e enough or should I buy Cat6?
If you are adding one outlet to an existing network, Cat5e is entirely sufficient. For new cabling, Cat6 is the better choice — replacing cable inside a wall ten years later is very expensive and the price difference now is small.
Ready-made patch cords or cable by the metre?
For short connections a ready-made patch cord is more reliable. For runs inside walls and ceilings you buy solid-core cable by the metre and terminate the ends into a keystone or connector on site.
Will an SFP module work in another brand of switch?
Usually yes, but some switches accept only their own modules. For reliability, take the module from the same ecosystem as the switch.
Does PoE need special cable?
There is no separate "PoE cable", but the cable must be pure copper. On CCA, PoE causes voltage drop and over a long run the device will not start.
